| I was looking for a way to consolidate my massive cd collection and this is. If you want to shed the jewel cases this is the item for you. I put each cd in a paper sleeve with a window and then slide it into the cover art work from front of the jewel case. The art work on the back of the jewel case is pretty much worthless but it will also go in the box if you fold it or turn it on end. Anyway each box will hold around 150. Great item. |

| These storage boxes are lightweight and yet sturdy enough to be easily moved around without worrying about them collapsing or being unstable. We have some of the double boxes, which are heavy when they are filled. The smaller ones are easier to handle and arrange on a shelf. |

| I was looking for a box to house a 66-cd slim-jewel-case box set of The Dead's 09 spring tour downloaded and burned to CD (22 shows, 3 discs a show). Took a flyer and grabbed a set of these boxes and it was a very snug but exact fit - the snaps make it just flexible enough for that little bit extra to get all 66 cd's inside. Sweet. Lid could be a little snugger, but all-in this is exactly what I needed. |

A good CD storage box

| This is good durable box in which to store your music CD's. The shiny black finish is quite attractive and the box should serve its purpose for many years. It will hold up to thirty CD's in their original jewel cases. Although it is advertised to hold up to 165 CD's in vinyl sleeves, the jewel boxes offer much better protection-- especially when they are stored inside this box. You can also keep the original artwork and books that came with the original CD's. The price is a little expensive if you buy more than one (unless you purchase a used one as I did). But it may be worth buying more of them if you are giving your CD's better protection by storing them in their original jewel cases. |
